Waht is SKIT?
This page provides a general explanation of the SKIT system.
About SKIT
SKIT allows you to draw graphics by hand, and then edit them using a commercial drawing application. SKetch Input Tracer (SKIT) automatically recognizes the hand-drawn curves input using a pen tablet (or similar device) as smoothed (geometric) curves such as lines, circles, and circular arcs, etc.

SKIT positioning
Note that a system that converts typed Roman keyboard characters into Japanese characters is generally known as a “Japanese-language input method.” In a similar sense, SKIT can be called a “hand-drawing input method”, because it converts hand-drawn curves entered with a pen tablet into geometric curves.
