- 1994 September
- SATO SAGA became a new lecturer in Muroran Institute of Technology and took over the laboratory of computer vision (the birth of Saga Lab).
- 1997 January
- SATO SAGA became an associate professor.
- 2001 March
- SATO, TAKIKAWA, OGUMA, UEDA and SAGA won the prize for the best interactive presentators in "Interaction 2001" .
- 2004 October
- SUMUDU DEMATAPITIYA won the Encouragement Prize, Information Processing Society of Japan, Hokkaido branch.
- 2005 March
- KHAND QAMMAR UDDIN receives the doctorate.
- 2005 April
- The name of Saga Lab is renewed as Interactive System Laboratory.
