Drawing with SKIT
Next, we will explain how to draw using SKIT. SKIT works by taking into consideration not just the shapes that are drawn, but also the “momentum” with which they are drawn. For a detailed presentation of how SKIT works, please see the introductory video.
Varying geometric curves
Note that the recognized results for all seven types of geometric curves recognized by SKIT will vary according to the drawing momentum.
Drawing continuously with pauses
By “pausing” the drawing action during input, it is possible to break up curves and thus enable a sequence of multiple curves to be recognized with a single stroke.
Use of overwriting
Overwriting can be used to “correct curves,” “cut curves,” and “join curves.”

Active state and inactive state
Geometric curves that can be overwritten are said to be in an “active state”; geometric curves that cannot be overwritten are in an “inactive state.”
It is possible to switch between active and inactive states by simply tapping the curve.
Gestures
SKIT can determine whether an input is intended to be a geometric curve input or a gesture command input based on the momentum of the drawing action. When using gesture command inputs, make sure to perform the gestures with sufficient speed.
