1994 September

SATO SAGA became a new lecturer in Muroran Institute of Technology and took over the laboratory of computer vision (the birth of Saga Lab).

1997 January

SATO SAGA became an associate professor.

2001 March

SATO, TAKIKAWA, OGUMA, UEDA and SAGA won the prize for the best interactive presentators in "Interaction 2001" .

2004 September

KHAND QAMMAR UDDIN won the Best Presentation Award in SCIS & ISIS 2004.

2004 October

SUMUDU DEMATAPITIYA won the Encouragement Prize, Information Processing Society of Japan, Hokkaido branch.

2005 March

KHAND QAMMAR UDDIN receives the doctorate.

2005 April

The name of Saga Lab is renewed as Interactive System Laboratory.

2006 March

TANAKA, NISHIKAWA, KAWAZOE, SAKURAI and SAGA won the prize for the best interactive presentators in "Interaction 2006" .

2007 April

SATO SAGA became a Professor.

2008 January

KURITA and SAGA won the "MVE Award" from Technical Group on Multimedia and Virtual Environment of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers.

2009 November

SUZUKI won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2009 Joint Convention, The Hokkaido Chapters of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan".

2010 March

NISHIKAWA receives the doctorate.

2010 November

WATANABE won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2010 Joint Convention, The Hokkaido Chapters of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan".

2012 January

KANEKO won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2011 IEEE Sapporo Section Encouraging Prize".

2012 December

ISHIKAWA and OYOSHI won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2012 Joint Convention, The Hokkaido Chapters of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan".

2014 February

ABURAYA won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2013 IEEE Sapporo Section Student Paper Contest, Best Presentation Award".

2014 December

WARITA won the prize for the excellent presentations in "2014 Joint Convention, The Hokkaido Chapters of the Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan".

2016 February

KAMIYA won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2015 IEEE Sapporo Section Student Paper Contest, Best Presentation Award".

2017 February

WATANABE won the prize for the excellent presentators in "2016 IEEE Sapporo Section Student Paper Contest, Best Presentation Award".

2018 January
